We offer a range of IPAF training courses designed to help you work safely and efficiently when using powered access equipment.

Who are IPAF?
The International Powered Access Federation (IPAF) is a globally recognised organisation that promotes the safe and effective use of powered access equipment.
IPAF training courses are developed by leading industry professionals and cover all mobile elevating work platforms (MEWPs). There are courses for operators, delivery drivers, demonstrators and managers/supervisors.
IPAF Training Courses
Course duration is a half day to two full days, dependent on course and includes theory and practical learning.
Upon completion of each course, the candidate will be issued with a digital Powered Access Licence (PAL) card as proof of training, issued and accessed via ePAL, IPAF’s free mobile phone app.
Booked onto an IPAF training course? Don't forget to bring:
- Photographic ID (passport, driving licence)
- Full body harness
- Safety boots/glasses
- Hard hat
- Hi-vis jacket
- Waterproof clothing (if rain is likely)
- Your lunch
- Please download the ePAL app before you attend the course
Who are IPAF?
IPAF stands for the International Powered Access Federation. It is a global organization that is widely recognized as promoting safe and effective use of powered access equipment around the world in a variety of different environments.
The IPAF training courses cover all types of mobile elevated work platforms (MEWPs) and are designed by industry professionals who have a great deal of experience in the field. A variety of courses are available for operators, demonstrators and managers/supervisors at all levels. Most courses take place over half a day to two full days, dependent on the course and will include a mix of theory and practical learning.
When each course has been succesfully completed, the candidate will be issued with a digital Powered Access Licence (PAL) card as proof of training. This will be issued and can be accessed via ePAL, IPAF’s free mobile phone app.
