Who are IPAF?
IPAF stands for the International Powered Access Federation. It is a global organization that is widely recognized as promoting safe and effective use of powered access equipment around the world in a variety of different environments.
The IPAF training courses cover all types of mobile elevated work platforms (MEWPs) and are designed by industry professionals who have a great deal of experience in the field. A variety of courses are available for operators, demonstrators and managers/supervisors at all levels. Most courses take place over half a day to two full days, dependent on the course and will include a mix of theory and practical learning.
When each course has been succesfully completed, the candidate will be issued with a digital Powered Access Licence (PAL) card as proof of training. This will be issued and can be accessed via ePAL, IPAF’s free mobile phone app.
Summit Platforms training centers are the ideal location at which to book your IPAF training, with comfortable training rooms and plenty of external space for delegates to practise their skills using the powered access equipment. Alternatively IPAF training can be carried out at your work site or at your companny premises (providing certain criteria is met).
All equipment used during the training is of the same high quality and specification as that used on the work site.
