Who are IPAF?
IPAF stands for International Powered Access Federation. It is a globally recognised organisation that promotes the safe and effective use of powered access equipment around the world.
IPAF training courses cover all types of mobile elevating work platforms (MEWPs) and are developed by leading industry professionals. There are courses for operators, demonstrators and managers/supervisors. Most courses take place over half a day to two full days, dependent on the course and will include a mix of theory and practical learning.
When each course has been succesfully completed, the candidate will be issued with a digital Powered Access Licence (PAL) card as proof of training. This will be issued and can be accessed via ePAL, IPAF’s free mobile phone app.
