Who are IPAF?
The International Powered Access Federation is known as IPAF. It is a global organization that is widely recognized as promoting safe and effective use of powered access equipment around the world in a variety of different environments.
IPAF training courses cover all types of mobile elevated work platforms (MEWPs) and are designed by industry experts who have extensive experience in the field. At all levels, operators, demonstrators, and managers/supervisors can choose from a variety of courses. Courses typically last between half a day and two full days, depending on the course, and will include both theory and practice.
When each course has been succesfully completed, the candidate will be issued with a digital Powered Access Licence (PAL) card as proof of training. This will be issued and can be accessed via ePAL, IPAF’s free mobile phone app.
