Summit Platforms opens new depot in Scotland

Summit Platforms has opened its new powered access rental and training depot in Wishaw, near Glasgow. The new Summit Platforms Glasgow operation will support existing and new customers powered access requirements across Scotland. The new depot has a fleet of over 200 machines currently and will increase this fleet of scissor lifts, boom lift, low level access and tele-handlers during 2018 and 2019. As with all Summit Platforms depots, all equipment is of the highest specification and bought from the leading manufactures such as Genie, JLG, Skyjack, Niftylift and JCB. All of our boom lifts will have electronic anti-entrapment devices, all diesel booms and scissors over 32ft have on-board power and all diesel scissors have outriggers and extending decks. Our electric and bi-fuel range of machines come standard with non-marking tyres.

The new depot in Wishaw near Glasgow is a 1.5 acre site with a fully equipped workshop. Our team is already growing, with a fully functioning hire desk, sales team, engineering team and driving team.
