Summit Platforms Announces Edward’s Trust as 2026 Charity Partner
Team Snowdon challenge and specially branded JCB scissor lift to raise funds for local bereavement charity
At Summit Platforms, we’re committed to supporting causes that have a real and meaningful impact within our local community. We’re proud to announce that for 2026, we have chosen Edward’s Trust as our official charity partner.
Edward’s Trust is a West Midlands–based charity that provides vital support to bereaved children, young people, and parents. Through emotional and practical guidance, the charity helps families navigate one of the most challenging times in their lives, ensuring that no one has to face grief alone.
As part of our fundraising efforts, team members from all Summit Platforms depots will come together on 11th June 2026 to take on a special challenge: a group walk up Snowdon. This collective effort brings colleagues together from across the business, united by a shared purpose to raise awareness and funds for a charity that makes a genuine difference to families in our region, a challenge that perfectly reflects Summit Platforms ‘reaching new heights’ and quite literally heading for the summit in support of Edward’s Trust. Alongside the Snowdon challenge, we have also proudly branded one of our scissor lifts in support of Edward’s Trust. The machine, a JCB S2646E, has been specially painted to raise awareness of the charity.
For the next 12 months, every hire of this scissor lift will directly contribute to Edward’s Trust, with all proceeds donated to help fund their essential services. We’ll be sharing regular updates on how much the lift raises, allowing customers and partners to follow its journey and see the positive impact being made.
Edward’s Trust provides a safe, supportive space for grieving families, offering both emotional and practical help at a time when it is needed most. Their compassionate approach ensures that children, young people, and parents feel supported, understood, and less alone during incredibly difficult circumstances.
