Summit Platforms London West depot moves to larger premises
Powered access and telehandler rental specialist Summit Platforms has relocated its London West depot to a larger site to provide more space for its continued expansion.
The company has outgrown its premises in Radlett, Hertfordshire, so has moved its operations to a new site eight miles away in Welham Green.
The extra space allows Summit Platforms to also provide IPAF training from the London West depot for the first time.
IPAF training
Summit Platforms London West Depot Manager Joe Moriarty said: “This is a great move, literally, for us as a business and for our customers.
“With a larger depot, we can better support our fast-growing customer base in West London and surrounding areas.
“Providing training in Welham Green means there are now ten Summit Platforms depots across the UK that deliver high quality IPAF courses.
“The whole depot team is excited by the potential this new site has for continuing to deliver excellent service to our customers and to enable us to continue to grow the fleet from this location.”
Zero emissions platforms
The move has happened just three years after London West opened, in 2021, reflecting its continued success in attracting new customers.
The depot offers a range of booms, scissor lifts, low-level access platforms and JCB telescopic handlers, with working heights ranging from 4m to 44m.
Summit Platforms fleet consists of over 70% zero or low emission machines with many able to offer full rough terrain capability.
